My name is Cathy Shaver.

I’m a former California Tech Executive who’s traded in global travel and 80 hour work weeks to become a work from home mom living in Oklahoma.  This mom/wife stuff is much harder than managing a global team at a Fortune 500 company.

I am continually awed by my peers who bravely face the daily challenges of raising children, earning  a living, managing a home, volunteering, staying fit, and keeping their sanity.

In my quest to emulate these heroes, I have become passionate about balance.  I am constantly on the look out for gadgets, books, advice,spiritual endeavors and humor that help make life easier, less expensive and more inspiring.  I believe that education and technology are two keys that can empower women financially and give them the option of working around life, rather than trying to make their lives work around work.
