As anxious as I am to see Spring, I’m not looking forward to all the allergies that begin to flare up with her arrival. In fact, my house could be the poster child for All Things Allergy – down to my dogs. Yep, the dogs have allergies too!
My twins were born premature and have struggled with allergies, asthma and chronic breathing issue ever since. Although the boys are about to turn 17 next month (insert brief sobbing sound here), they are still my babies and I worry. I worry about them sleeping properly – I worry about the amount of dust that is floating around my house and how much that dust may impact their daily life.
As a result, I’ve invested a lot of time, money and effort into researching products that make life with allergies a little bit easier.
Enter Allergy Luxe Organic Bedding –
Allergy Luxe provides luxurious sheets that are made from certified pure organic cotton. These quality sheets promote and support the growing trend and need for an eco-friendly lifestyle such as mine.
These sheets are free of harmful chemicals and organic dyes, and has an anti-allergen barrier weave that protects the sheets against dust mite dander, pollen, pet dander and other allergens that tend to cause problems with my kids.
The 100% organic cotton sheets come in a 300 thread count which essentially means they are very soft! They have fairly deep pockets that are nice if you have a pillow-top mattress. And they are machine washable. I’ve washed mine according to doctors orders to help provide a healthy environment for my kids and they wash nicely, time and again.
In the end, when my kids breath easy – I breath easy. And there just isn’t a better feeling, as a mother, then knowing your providing the safest environment for your family that you can.
Allergy Luxe Organic Sheets and Bedding can be purchased at Bed Bath & Beyond.
Disclosure: I received the above product at no cost from Bed Bath & Beyond. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s so important for our children to have things like organic bedding and mattresses. They really do make a big difference since kids are so sensitive to the chemicals. They are very affordable these days too. And don’t just get them for your kids, do it for yourself as well.
I didn’t know that bed bath and beyond sold organic stuff! 300 thread count is nice too.
Peggy, they have a growing line of organic items. I’m pleased with the number of businesses that are getting on board with the organics.
The problem with allergies is that there can be so many causes in a home and sometimes the problem can be mold but you can control that mold a natural way. We had a mold problem that was causing allergic reactions for our family and we discovered an all natural product made of tea tree oil gel. You can find it at http://www.teatreeoilgel.com.
I would like to share that Allergy Luxe Organic bedding not only give you pesticide-free peace of mind, they also protect you from allergens like dust mites and pet dander.
Hi! I was wondering how warm the allergyluxe comforter is? I have no allergies, but am looking for a warm comforter and found that I LOVE the zipper cover on the allergyluxe when I was at bed bath and beyond. It’s not real down, but I tested it and it seems pretty warm but it is not winter yet so I can’t tell. Do you think this might hold up to Northeast weathers also? Thanks and have a great day!
I find their comforter to be very warm and I know in Chicago weather during the winters it is great!
We bought the Allergy Luxe from bed bath and beyond and Coyuchi organic bedding from EdenHome.com. Both did a great job for my skin allergies, the Coyuchi is a lot softer, but the Allergy Luxe was so much less expensive I’m not sure if I’d shell out the big bucks to buy Coyuchi again.
