Browsing the site Architectural Classics is like hopping aboard a time machine and going back in time with Indiana Jones. At first glance you know you’re in for a real treat. With each click of your mouse, you’re taking one step further into a virtual archaeological dig that unmasks endless possibilities for decorating your home.
Architectural Classics serves up a wide display of antique lighting and door hardware that includes door knobs, knockers, lever handles and finger plates.
Some of my personal favorites are the lighting reproductions. A beautiful selection of carriage lights, lanterns, floor lights and wall lights are just a few of the choices you’ll have to select from – many of which can give your home the feel that Benjamin Franklin himself might have experienced in his day – minus the electricity of course.
Being the wall sign addict that I am, I fell in love with some of the antique advertisements they have listed for purchase. Most signs were similar to those my grandmother might have seen during her childhood.
Regardless of what era might appeal to you, Architectural Classics is sure to have something to suit your taste.
When I was first approached to write a paid review of this website, I honestly wasn sure how I could possibly have anything to say – especially since I don possess a trained eye for such treasures, but once I was able to take a peek at the site, I realized you don have to have a trained eye to appreciate the look and feel of timeless classics.

A few months ago I saw a nice door pull. Decided to purchase today and can not get into Architectural Classics web site. Are they gone?
