I like my content to be mine and my writing to have my voice. Maybe if I were to build an affiliate niche blog or something and just needed a bunch of content I didn't have time to write from scratch, I'd consider taking PLR and rewriting it, adding pictures, etc and using that, but not on my personal blogs. :O) Funny thing is, I have written and sold PLR and I own an article directory, with plans for a few more niche directories in the future, but I can’t imagine taking someone else’s PLR and just putting my name on it and posting it, or other people’s articles from a directory. I can change it, rewrite it, make it original, and add lots of good stuff to it. It really gets the gears in your head spinning and moving again. Article directories are okay when you're giving a review of the article or adding pictures to it etc, but then you have to copy and paste the whole thing word for word.
