Baby It’s Hot Outside

As the temperatures remain in the category of sweltering – many people are looking for ways to stay cool or cool-ER than the 100+ degrees Mother Nature is dishing up.

If you’re like me and only dream of having a pool one day, you’re left to resort to more child-like methods of keeping cool.

One of my favorite methods involves the kids trampoline and a sprinkler.

I’ve always enjoyed laying out on the kids trampoline as my way of catching some rays – but when it’s overly hot – I like to add a sprinkler.

By placing the noodle sprinkler under the trampoline, I don’t get struck with the cold water constantly – just sporadically.

My preferred sprinkler is Noodlehead N111C Flexible Lawn & Garden Sprinkler. The satisfaction one receives from directing the water exactly where you want it to go is extremely gratifying and gives one a sense of achievement. It’s very satisfying to not only conserve water, but to perform the tedious job of watering in the most efficient manner possible, by putting just the right amount of water precisely where you want it! On a hot summer day children love playing in the sprinkling water. They seemed to achieve even greater pleasure by grabbing and bending one of the noodles to purposely squirt one of the other playing children. Attaches to a standard garden hose or it screws onto a riser. It’s quick, easy and fun to use. Create your own perfect pattern and adapt to any shape or garden. You control the coverage, save money and conserve water. As your garden grows, simply rebend noodles to customize new watering patterns.

The Noodlehead is available on Amazon or at your local retailer for approximately $12.50

This is cool, although those old school bar sprinklers always did the trick for us as kids. I’ll have to try this when my daughter gets a bit older!

Who knew you could keep cool with a trampoline and a sprinkler noodle for only $12.50! I never would have thought to try it. I can just see my dogs now. They both love water. Not too sure what they’ll think about getting the trampoline involved!

My kids love jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler but the Noodlehead looks like it’s a lot more fun and more versatile.

I just love it specially during summer time. What is so special about it is the smile that it brings to my kids.
