BabyPlus- A MomGadget Review

BabyPlus is a prenatal machine that you wrap around your belly and let your baby learn through sounds that it gives off. The strap, thankfully lets you adjust the size, which is perfect for the ever-growing belly. Now, I did not get this product until after I had my son, however I was still able to listen to it and try it out.

Basically it is a small oval-shaped machine that takes 4 triple A batteries, once batteries are loaded you turn it on and drop it into the small pouch that wraps around your belly. It is recommended that you play this for one hour a day. My recommendation would be in the privacy of your own home and NOT at work. While the sounds may benefit the baby, it would displease your co-workers or possibly yourself if you were at work. Currently there is no sound adjuster, maybe they’ll make one in the future.

I can’t tell you if it works or not as this is suppose to be during pregnancy. See you start it at 18 weeks pregnant and end it when the baby is born. You play this twice a day for an hour, as the weeks go on the heartbeat (in the machine) changes, which is suppose to help the baby learn. Since I couldn’t test it on a pregnancy I took it out of the box and placed just the machine in my son’s crib under a pillow and played it for him for a while. He is interested in the sounds it makes and tries locating the beating sound. I found it was a bit too loud for my taste, that’s why I place it under the pillow for him.

I do wish I would’ve tried the Baby Plus Prenatal Education System while pregnant, just to see how well it worked, after all what parent doesn’t want to give their child everything they possibly can to help them succeed in the world. It would make a great baby shower gift or something to buy yourself while pregnant.
