I have two daughters, one is 9 and the other is 6. This means my oldest is always getting things before the younger one. Why? Simple, we know she’s old enough to do it or to take care of the item. This past December we went out and got our oldest daughter’s ears pierced but not the younger one. To be honest we’d done both when they were much younger, one liked to pull on them and the other never let me near them so we let them close.

I won’t lie, she (BabyGirl) has been jealous over her sister’s earrings. We tried explaining she could get it done at the same time but you know it never seems fair when you are the youngest.
