Mark White at Better Business Blogging has discovered TWO pharmaceutical companies who’ve recently launched blogs.
Here a pretty handy list of article announcement lists you can submit articles to. You will need to subscribe to most first prior to submitting any articles. Be prepared to receive the article submissions from other members of the list. Not a bad idea to create an email account just for article submissions to be on the proactive side of this little endeavor that could result in a flood of emails.
Work at Home
The government calculated how many federal employees are regular telecommuters — 119, 248. That’s 6.6 percent of the federal workforce, according to a report sent to Congress by the Office of Personnel Management.
Congress supported the idea of government employees working from home to help ease rush-hour congestion and give agencies a way of continuing basic operations in the event of a catastrophe, such as pandemic flu.
Find out which government agency has the most telecommuters.
I think this is great on so many levels. Primarily the fact that it’s allowing parents to spend more time a home with family.

That is pretty amazing about the government workforce being at home. That is the one field that I would’ve never thought would allow people to work from home. It’s definitely a good sign, though.

I think it’s great that the Government is allowing employees to work at home. Here in Indiana, that’s where most of them are so often anyway.
