Bottle Tops

img_1882I have seen these on TV a thousand times and kept thinking “what a wonderful idea but I doubt they work”. Then this opportunity came up to review them and try them. I can honestly say I was totally surprised when they came in the mail and my whole family tried them out.

They are simple to use. You open a can of soda and pop it onto the top.  They fit most soda cans. That easy. My five year old had no problem doing it herself. They come in  a array of colors so each child had their own and knew which soda was theirs. Which is a common problem around this house. They are always arguing over which soda belongs to who.

I was shocked to see that it didn’t spill out where it snaps on. I had maybe two little drops when my daughter tipped it over out of the side where it connects to the can. I was so happy. It saved a huge spill all over my floor.

I am thrilled to have these to take to baseball games with us. I can tell you several times we had bees take over our cans and we had to throw away almost full sodas at the ballpark. Now all we have to do is snap one of these on and it closes. There is no more dirt or bees in our sodas. Hooray!

We did leave a open can in the refrigerator over night with one of the toppers on the can and closed. We tried it in the morning to see how the carbonation was after one night. It was not flat. It still had carbonation in it.

They are vey easy to clean. Only take a moment to wash by hand and they are ready for the next soda.

My whole family is very pleased with these. It makes it easy to allow the kids to take soda in the car now that we don’t have to worry about spills on long trips and no more dirt or bees when we are outside.

They sell for around $9.99 at CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart and other major retailers.

You can also find them here online.
