I’m a former California-based tech executive and businesses investor who’s left global travel and 80 hr work weeks to live in Oklahoma. Now a mom, wife, and small business owner, I sometimes feel as if I’m always on duty with 168 hr (24/7) work weeks. But, life is good.
Super mom I’m not. BTW – has anyone actually met her? My house gets messy. I don’t always get lunches ready before school, and I have been late to business meetings and Bible study.
Thankfully, my husband and children think roasted chicken from the grocery store is ‘homemade’ and the people I work with are a lot like me. They ‘get’ the juggle of kids, career, self, community, and love.
Most of my friends and business partners are always on the lookout for gizmos and gadgets to make home and business life easier, more economical, or inspiring. We expect a lot from ourselves and the items we recommend.
