Cute. Fun.Creative.
That’s how I describe MIMOBOT Designer  USB Flash Drives, the lastest in flash drive fashion.    If you’re one who tends to store lots of important information on your computer, then  I’m sure you already know what a flash drive is.  For those of you who don’t know… it’s a small external computer accessory that can save you from a lot of stress and headache in the long run.  Flash drives are perfect for backing up your precious files. You basically use it to transfer data from one computer to another.  It can be used to store, music, photos, files, and other important information.  Trust me. You do not want to go with out one.

“Since 2005, Boston-based design house Mimoco has fused the art of contemporary characters with the functionality of personal data storage devices making its name known in both the pop-culture driven Art Toy underground and the savvy high-tech ‘tronic world. When I learned I would have the opportunity to try out a MIMOBOT from Mimoco.com, I rushed over to the website to see what was in store.  I no had no idea which one I would be receiving.  To my surprise, I received this little cutie here, the Caio Caio by tokidoki.

The quality of the drive is good-very sturdy and the graphic ROCKED!  I could tell they put a lot of effort into the design and the creativity showed.  The drive also has a glossy finish which added a nice appeal.  At first glance, you would not suspect, it was a flash drive until you actually pop off the cover and see the drive itself.  Pop it back on… and you have your little MIMOBOT all together again.  They are just to cute!

Getting started didn’t take much effort at all.  I’m using windows 7 and there were no drivers to install or anything.  For me, that was a plus and this device is compatible on both Mac and Windows machines.

As an added bonus, the drive contains a zip file containing exclusive wallpapers, screensavers,  avatars  and desktop themes.   Accessing these files are easy with the provided instructions.

Overall, I  thought the MIMOBOT was one of the better flash drives I used.  Besides the very cute , fun designs and bonus software, I found the drive itself to be of high quality.

Now that I’ve had the chance to try one for myself, there are also a few others I wouldn’t mind adding to my collection.  For instance, the Hello Kitty Fun in Fields or Giggles by Happy Tree Friends.

My bet is that you’ll really like these flash drives.  To learn more, head over to Mimoco.com for more details and see how you can get one for yourself.
