I’ve been a firm believer in using coupons since I not only managed to purchase $168 dollars worth of groceries for only $22, I used rebates and made an additional $78 dollars after the whole deal was said and done.

Nothing better than getting paid to buy peoples products and eat them. lol

I have never managed to do that good again, and this was back in the early 1990′s but I still remember it as a crowning achievement in my quest to save money using coupons.

I never used to use coupons because I did not like taking the time to cut them out; however since my husband has gotten laid off we find ourselves comparing prices on everything before we buy anything.

I guess you can say that it made us a lot smarter with our money.

Coupons are great as long as you don’t end up buying stuff just because it is a great price. I had to cut down on coupon use because I ended up with too much stuff!

While you may not get coupons the way, the nutritional value of meat is expensive compared with vegetables and fruits. Include more fruits and vegetables and less meat. Live longer too.
