I have no special winter bedding its the same old stuff year round just add more blankets, and I put a electric blanket under the sheets so the bottom is warm!

Carmela P December 21, 2009 at 5:55 am

My winter bedding is just the addition of a fleece blanket. It doesn’t get very cold here in Texas! :D

Dddiva December 21, 2009 at 6:02 am

We use cotton sheets all the time and a heavier comforter in the winter.

Well, we live in the south, but it still gets cold here, and we don’t have central heat, so our winter bedding begins with a flannel set (fitted and top sheets). Next, hubby and I each have our own quilt/comforter (otherwise, one of us ends up without one). Across the whole bed, we have a crocheted afghan. On particularly cold nights, we will throw on another couple of quilts/comforters.

Same as summer, except we add a fleece blanket under the comforter and another quilt at the foot of the bed if needed.

Our winter bedding consists of mismatched sheets and two comforters…our heat gets turned down low to try to save on the power bill, so we add more layers of blankets and snuggle close. :) A new pair of sheets would be a nice addition. Thanks for the chance!

Kristie December 21, 2009 at 12:30 pm

We live down south, so we don’t change our bedding in the non-existent winter!

May Schultz December 21, 2009 at 1:54 pm

We have the same bedding, winter OR summer. Our thermostat keeps the temperature regulated, and I am lucky enough to have a husband with a VERY warm body…all the time. So if I feel cold, I just snuggle up to him and his warmth keeps ME warm. Better than ANY blanket. I am so blessed. We are married 60 years!!
