Electronic Dog Fence for Yards up to 6 Acres! Electronic Dog Fence for Yards up to 6 Acres!

Gadget Dad and I are looking into electronic fences for our loving family friends Gadget Dog and Gadget Pup.  I’ve been checking into this model which seems to be just what we need.  We’re preparing to move to a little 2 acre mini farm that’s on a much busier road so we’re wanting to do something to insure the safety of our beloved pets.

Product Description via Amazon
Low-cost way to keep your pet ON your property, away from flower beds and OUT of the street. After a 14-day training period, your dog learns to heed a warning beep and avoid correction by staying within the boundaries. Highly resistant to uncoded signals. 115 Volt transmitter energizes up to 4600 feet of underground boundary wire to encircle up to 6 acres. The 500 feet of wire included will enclose approximately 1/2 acre. Visual break alarm is on the transmitter. Energizes 2000ft. of 20 gauge wire. You also get collar, battery, 2 sets of contacts, 50 training flags plus FREE how-to video.

Coolest Gadgets has a mini review of an indoor version of the invisible fence that will keep pets from going into those unwanted areas of your home.  This would come in very handy while house training your pet and trying to keep them in specific areas of your home while you’re away.

I was curious as to which model fence your chose and how it worked for you. I am always interested in raw feedback from users of these fences for statistical purposes. I hope your choice has worked out for you.

I have had friends who both loved and hated the ivisible fences.
