Exergen TemporalScanner – A MomGadget Giveaway

by Gayla Baer

temporal scanner

When my twins were babies, one had been running a fever so I gave him Tylenol and put him to bed with a bottle. I kept the baby monitor close by so when he woke up, I’d be able to attend to him right away.

A short time into his sleep, I heard him stirring from his slumber. I went to their room to check on him – I opened the door to the most terrifying experiences I’ve ever known.

My baby was burning with fever and convulsing.

I was alone at the time – so I rushed to call 911 and followed their instructions until the paramedics got there and could take over.

Later I would learn he had Roseolla and had experienced feveral seizures.

After an experience like that, nothing becomes more terrifying than a fever.

My twins will soon be sixteen, but to this day, if either of them has a fever, I’m a nervous wreck.

When a product like Exergen Temporal Scanner comes available, it’s as if someone is handing a mother a key to personal sanity.

When the twins were little, there wasn’t a quick and easy way to take their temperature – but now – things are totally different.

If you take your finger and run it across your forehead, you will get a clear idea of what it’s like to take a temperature with this device.

It’s truly that easy!

Here are some brief facts about the TemporalScanner:

  • Speed: In just 2 seconds, a gentle scan across the forehead with the Exergen TemporalScanner takes an accurate temperature
  • The TemporalScanner is the only thermometer that has a silver ion, self-disinfecting antimicrobial head. This helps prevent ear infections caused by bacteria and germs (the imbedded silver destroys bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi naturally and safely)
  • The easy-to-use and non-invasive TemporalScanner helps relieve the stress/difficulty that parents have when trying to take the temperature of ill and uncomfortable child. With the TemporalScanner a child’s temperature can be taking while they are asleep.
  • With the antimicrobial TemporalScanner there is no need to buy disposable covers as required with other thermometers. Saving both cost and helping the environment by eliminating the need for these plastic covers.
  • The TemporalScanner is used in almost 30 percent of hospitals and physicians across the county. It is the only thermometer manufactured in the United States.

Sounds wonderful doesn’t it?

Well, MomGadget has partnered up with Exergen to give one lucky reader a temporal scanner of their very own.
