With the seasons changing and the colors of fall disappearing under the attack of rain and wind, I’m feeling my own seasonal depression set in. I’m not a winter person by any stretch of the imagination. I detest snow in every way, shape and form. I don’t even want snow on my post cards on Christmas cards.
Perhaps it’s mostly because I have an intense fear of driving on that white stuff. Thank goodness I’m a work at home mom, huh?
So when Home Mom offered to host a Blog Carnival with the topic “What’s Your Favorite Weather/Season and Why?” I knew instantly this was a topic I could go on and on and on about… but I’ll spare you all those details.
To me, winter is restricting. One must wear layers of clothing to keep warm which results in not being able to move very well. ACK, what fun is that?
Summer, as much as I love summer, the older I get, the less I can take the heat. Now if my husband were to dig me a nice big pond in the back or install a pool, Summer would quickly become my favorite season… but since there’s no pool, Spring is King!
I love Spring! To me, it’s a new awakening. It’s coming out from the deep winters sleep. It’s colorful and cheerful and it’s the time when my seasonal depression runs into hiding for the next several months.
Gosh, I’m already looking forward to Spring. Only 145 days to go!

I’m just the opposite, I’m a Fall Girl myself. I love watching it all come to an end.
