Great conversations in a box – A MomGadget Review

We all know what it’s like to cringe at the thought of small talk that goes absolutely nowhere. The last place we want that sort of small talk is in our own homes, with our own families and certainly with our kids. And let’s face it, there are some of us that are conversation-tards in the truest sense and no matter how hard we try to be the Einstein of conversations, it’s just not going to happen.

There have been times where my kids look at me like they’d rather take a dinner fork in the eye than to answer one more stupid question I might fire at them.

Well, I’m happy to report that my kids can stop looking to our dinner forks as an alternative to quality family time.

TableTopics Family Conversation Edition was created to encourage family connection around the dinner table. From silly to thought-provoking, the conversation topics delve into family history and opinions to achieve a mix that’s fun for everyone.

The logic behind TableTopics Family Conversation Edition is if you talk with your kids now, chances are they’ll talk with you later.

We’ve also received the TableTopics Teen Edition that makes for great conversations between our kids and their friends. When you provide interesting conversation starters for kids, perhaps they’ll be less likely to lean toward conversations that can end up getting them in trouble.

What a great way to teach them how to improve their conversational skills – especially when that’s one of the primary problems many adults have in their adult relationships.

If you know a family that could use a little help in the conversational department or even if both parents work – this would provide a fun family activity that could be enjoyed right around the dinner table.

TableTopic has a variety of topics from Family to Girls Night Out – there truly is something for everyone at TableTopics!

Love these — this kind of conversation starter works really well for me and my kids around the dinner table. When I declare that we’re having a TV-free dinner, we always end up having the loveliest talks.

I love these conversation starters, and how they force us to think faster. I’ll check these out.

You know what else are really fun like this? Q cards, from Mitch Matthews over at http://www.doyouq.com Mitch has Q friends and Q dates, and is making more. I have these sets and they are GREAT fun for friends and family.

Sorry if that sounds like a commercial; it wasn’t meant to. I just really like the Q products, and Mitch. His blog is awesome too, and now that he has April helping him, there’s new stuff there all the time.
