Hi all, I’m typing this right now as I look over my lovely street in suburban Montreal, Canada. It’s a beautiful day and it has been gorgeous for the past two weeks now. We’re soaking up what we can because “beautiful” is not a word we would have used to describe the weather of Summer 2009!
I’m Marijke and one of the new bloggers who have been brought on board. I’ve been using the Internet since many users now were young children. I’m also a gadget lover, as well as someone who doesn’t mince words when it comes to a product I don’t like. Hopefully, we won’t come across too many of those.
As similar as Americans and Canadians can be, we’re also different in many ways, so it’s fun to have this opportunity to present another side to reviews. Sometimes reviews of gadgets are done on items that aren’t available in Canada and sometimes there’s the reverse.
The other fun thing is that Montreal is very close to the U.S./Canada border. We’re not even an hour from New York state and a bit longer than that (but not much) to Vermont. So, it’s not unusual at all for people like me to take a day trip down to the States to do a bit of shopping. The fun is in finding things that we can’t get here. Like Airborne(r), which I’ll be blogging on.
Anyway, I hope to get to know you and that you’ll get to know me.
