It’s a Girl!

by Gayla Baer

You already knew that much, didn’t you?

Well our beloved puppy has come home to stay!  The kids and I picked her up yesterday afternoon and have fallen madly in love with this little morsel of a puppy.

I’d asked for help in choosing the perfect name for her and in the end, we had help creating a short list, but she chose her own.

This is Molly!  Full registered name – Bijou Molly M (Bijou pronounced Beez-you)

Molly 010 Molly 006

She is such a sweet girl but SO very tiny!

I’m hoping to prepare Molly for show – so I’ll be looking into some nice training options, whether I’m the actual trainer or hire one.  I’d love any tips you might have to share.  I’ve never had a small foo-foo dog before so this is new territory.  But very cool and fun new territory if you ask me!

Stay tuned over the coming months, I’m sure to be sharing LOTS of pictures of Miss Molly!

Ahhh. She is lovely. She is actually the perfect size for me. I have always wanted a cute little pet – you are so lucky!

Ohhhh, she is so cute. You are going to be such a doting mommy.

You’re so right Char! Of course to get me started on my whole bragging mommy trend – Molly already knows her name! She’s so smart :) lol

She does make a perfect pet/size for me! I love my kids but don’t want another baby – much prefer puppies to mouthy teens lol

Oh, she is PRECIOUS! And that name just fits her PERFECT!

Thanks Sara! I’m learning to blog with her on the back of my hands at the moment. I wonder if you can train a dog to operate a computer mouse?

She’s adorable, I’m sooooo jealous, I’ve always wanted a Yorkie. I’m looking forward to more pics!

Reminds me of the good-natured lead creature in Gremlins. Still the puppy is far more cute and pretty.

She is precious! I love the photo in the soup cup. Yorkies are a little more difficult to breed than most other breeds, but certainly not impossible.

Keep in mind that puppies can’t control their bowels until 3 months or so, so be prepared for a few accidents. Make sure to take them out for a potty break right before you go to bed and then first thing in the morning as soon as she wakes up. If you’re consistent, you will find success!

So it’s Miss Molly :)

(last time I visited, you still didn’t knew how to call her). It’s a cute name for a cute little dog! I used a trainer for my dog, few years back, but it’s a big dog and unfortunately, I had very little time. I guess if you’re staying home, you could easily do the training yourself. I’m waiting for those trash up the house moments ;)

It’s so weird that I can honestly say that I love your yorkie without ever meeting her. I love all yorkies (they are the best dogs ever!!). Molly is sooo cute in her coffee cup. I know that the post was in march, but I would love to see how big Molly had gotten to be now. Show her off at http://www.ilovemyyorkie.ning.com

hmmmm, satisfyingly modeled pet gates are hard to find. it’s important to intelligent in choosing the right one. training for the pets is good even if we just have little time with them

How precious!

I’m afraid I have no dog training tips to offer. Currently I’ve just signed up my naughty one year old Golden Retriever for “Good Citizen Class”. I hope we don’t flunk. Eek!

Enjoy your new little pup!
