Cool! I actually have pubmatic before. But i leave it just like that after my account registration. But after i read your post, i started to go through that website :) thanks for waking me up for pubmatic :)

Cheers! Thumbs up for this blog!

I found out about them a few days ago when I noticed that one of the b5media blogs was using them. Pretty nifty. I had been getting ready to do a little personal php type of thing to do my own ad rotation and this makes it quite a bit easier.

Also, if you don’t like the colors, there is an option to have them “blend in” instead of using the crazy colors.

Under the Optimize Colors click Advanced Settings and then select Blend In. You can also pick to define which colors you want.

How can an individual B5 blog use it?

I think whoever manages the ads must have tested it on a site or so a few days ago. I ended up their via StumbleUpon so I don’t remember which blog it was. I just spot checked a few today and didn’t see it on them.

You might ask in the b5 forum to see if anybody knows about it.

I noticed it there too. I also did some checking and found Darren has reviewed it back in October, I think.

As far as using their colors, I went with it the way I did because they actually take a month or so to monitor to see which specific settings gain the most clicks and then stick with that.

I think it’s worth putting up with for a while to have someone else figure out the science.

Know what I mean?

Does Pubmatic cause trouble with services that sell by the day, like Project Wonderful? Someone is paying for a whole day of a spot.

Ok, this must be that program you were telling me about. I have it saved to my favorites and will check it out very soon! Thanks for reminding me Gayla!

Hi Gayla,

Thanks for the email reply. I am checking this out too! :)

Umm? Are you talking about me Gayla? Wow!? blushing. I wouldn’t exactly call myself a blogger, although I wish I could. (A fake part time one maybe :) Momgadget, now that is a REAL blogger!

Gayla March 6, 2008 at 3:43 am

Chad, of course I’m talking about you. You’re the bomb as far as I’m concerned when it comes to advertising. You can remain modest if you like. There are plenty of us out here who enjoy bragging about you. :)

I hope it is a good option. I am kind of disappointed with Adsense.
It take years to reach the minimum payout. Sometimes I just forget about the ads and when I remember I go check and I see that I have one cent more.
