I have these printers at work, completely pleased with it’s work and the only problem i would say, is that cartridges are bought too often. That is because we do not restrain ourselves from printing!
This is what I’ve learned from my short stint with the Kodak AIO printer.
Kodak AIO Printer Buyer’s Guide:
1) Buy Printer
2) Save Receipt
3) Save packaging
4) Don’t count on it for late night printing.
5) Take it back ASAP.
My printer refuses to feed new paper, saying the tray is empty. You can try to “feed” it paper and pray that you get one page through every 30 minutes. Of course I didn’t save the packaging as I’d had it for two weeks without problems. There may be a homing device on the packaging that makes the printer transform itself into a paperwork after you dispose of the packaging.
Moreover you cannot write to memory cards inserted in the printer. Pure stupidity on their part.
Anyway, Kodak doesn’t respond to emails and I wasted $200. Don’t make the same mistake I did. The best decision you could make would be to not buy one of these printers.
My printer will also not feed paper. It also gets confused for a very long time if you ever hit the cancel button. Not a good user experience. When it does decide to print, it prints well.
the aio 5300 is a piece of garbage. I actually did a ton of research and got the CEO of kodak to respond by sending me more ink and a new printhead. I have probably only printed 20 pictures and a few docs and the second printhead has gone bad. Piece of garbage unit, no customer support, and have a known problem and still sell the unit. NEVER BUY KODAK AGAIN!!!!

I am looking for ink cartridges for the Epson RX520. I have bought compatibles in the past but the ink quality is not so great or the chips dont recognise. Any help would be appreciated
I have had this printer for over a year and it has stopped printing black ink. I am very upset due to the fact that I used it only once every two weeks. Do not buy this printer!
Just like the review says, this thing won’t scan if the ink cartridges are empty. Ridiculous! Just a way to force you to buy ink. I won’t buy Kodak again.
I would recommend HP Photosmart for photo printing. That is the best. Kodak may have a name in photos, but their printers are not at all good.
This is a decent printer but the inks are a little harder to find. If you are looking for an All-in-one with cheap inks take a look at the Brother Printers

I use this one and an Epson printer and I have to say, this one’s way better.
I’m looking for a cheap older printer to help my kid brother with his homework, do you think this would be a good choice for him? I was thinking about buying him a new one but cash is a little tight.
