We’ve all had it happen – we’re forced to wait on the phone while a company connects you to a real person. I’m happy to report, the wait is OVER! An online service offers to do the waiting for you.

Obviously that’s why Mike and Tom Oristian, Stanford graduates and brothers, created Lucy.
Go to Lucyphone.com, key in the number or name of almost any company that has an automatic system. Plug in your own number, and Lucy will call you once a live operator picks up the line.
I tested out LucyPhone by calling customer support for a problem with a Laptop driver. Worked like a charm!
The brothers named the site Lucyphone after the phone made popular in the old “I Love Lucy” show. Back then, you had no choice but to physically wait. Now, with Lucyphone, you can still make the call while making sure you can get other things done too.
What an amazing idea! I can see hours upon hours of frustration and waiting melting away as I type!
