LUSTER 1 Hour White for a Brighter, Whiter Smile

by Susan Warren Utley

luster
For the past year I have been on a quest for a brighter, whiter smile without having to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars and multiple visits to the dentist’s chair. I tried several at-home products all of which promised easy to use systems with noticeable results. I tried the strips, the trays, the paint on gels, none of which delivered on their promises or perhaps I lacked the initiative to follow through on the two to three week regime to see the final results.

Recently I had the opportunity to review LUSTER 1 Hour White, a new at-home tooth whitening system that promises to whiten teeth up to six shades in less than one hour with zero tooth sensitivity. Eager to get started, I opened up the packaging and prepared myself for a lengthy setup and a ton of reading. After all, LUSTER uses similar technology to what you would receive in the dentist’s office. This was bound to be complicated! Not so. The instructions are a quick read and LUSTER’s three step process comes with a simple one step setup! Just insert the included batteries and you are ready to go.

The application process is simple as well. After brushing and flossing, rinse your teeth with the Accelerator Mouth Wash for ten seconds. The rinse has a mild, minty taste with no alcohol burn. Next, brush on the Super Whitening Gel. Finally, hold the Activating Whitening Light in front of your teeth and press the ON button. When the light shuts OFF after two minutes, you have completed your first treatment. I was able to complete thirteen treatments in one hour and a full application of twenty in less than ninety minutes. The results: noticeably whiter teeth! If I had to guess, I would say my smile brightened by at least three to four shades with minimal hassle and no pain. Not bad for $39.99.

To maintain my bright smile, I will need to follow up with 5-6 two minute treatments every 2-3 months. As the package contains enough product to complete a maximum of 20 applications, I will need to purchase a refill kit for $19.99 and four AAA batteries. Not too shabby for a painless, easy to use system that promises to keep me smiling!

Whitening your teeth will not only boost your appearance but also tremendously boost your confidence. Smiling will let people know you are confident and in return they will probably compliment you on your beaming white smile.

Most teeth whitening products on the market are made of up Peroxide which can increase tooth sensitivity.:;:

I’ve never tried this product but it definitely looks worthwhile, I may have to give it a shot!

I think the confidence factor cannot be emphasized enough. usually teeth whitening is more a psychological thing since you are not happy with yourself. most people don’t need one but still want to push themselves to the limit.

I’m thrilled that you found a product that worked well for you. I’m also glad that you mentioned seeing your dentist. It’s important to have checkups and overall great dental health before using at home teeth whitening systems.
