Maximize Any Niche – Series Finale
By: Gayla Baer

My blogging friend Katelyn must have thought she’s throw me for a real loop with the topic she responded to my call with. Chipmunk! My first thought was, How on Earth will I be able to maximize THAT topic… but I wasn’t going to just roll over and play dead — I was going to find a hefty list of topics and keywords if it killed me!
Chipmunk actually isn’t a bad little niche — yielding over 16,000 searches for the single word alone.
Topics that could easily be explored for sub-niche topics are:
Alvin and the Chipmunks
Binoculars to watch chipmunks
Bird seed to feed them
Humane ways to make them go away
Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
Chipmunk Christmas (hugely popular around the holidays)
Feature Chipmunk pictures or hold kids drawing contests
Explore the various kinds of chipmunks, where they live and details about their habitat, etc.
Movies
Documentaries
History
Coloring Books and Kids activities
Keeping a chipmunk as a pet
Now, IF it were me and I wanted to blog about Chipmunks, I do believe I’d likely expand that topic just a bit to include small outdoor critters. That way, you’d have an endless supply of topics to explore.
This is the final entry in a three part series on how to maximize any topic. To view other topics we’ve dissected, check out The 80′s and Movies.
