This is a great unit for the money. Don’t pass up the offer!!!
The idea of printers being energy efficient AND being made with recycled materials is a good one. Now if we can just get people using more recycled paper! Of course, the next alternative of some type of tablet or holographic paper may come along someday… but until then, there’s HP
Its amazing how cheap printers have become with all the functionality they offer. $49 is a great price. All though, I have never owned an HP printer. I am satisfied with my HP laptop.

Never buy this product. it stops in the middle while printing and the only solution is to restart the computer to continue printing. I successfully printed 2 pages in one hour and 15 minutes and wasted 32 parchment paper using this printer.
Interesting marketing on the HP DeskJet D2600. However, most modern inkjet printers are made with recycled materials, from plastic to steel. It’s just not as marketing-centric.
Another idea, if you’re interested in making your home office more earth-friendly, is to invest in a printer that uses larger ink cartridges (50 ml +). This also increases the overall economy of the printer by greatly reducing the cost of operation.
It’s sad to see so many people throwing out their old printers just because a new one costs less than replacing the ink…
HP printer has very good quality and it work fast. and not expensive
very green indeed…made by recycled plastics, i wonder how long will it last cause recycle item usually not that durable though…
