I LOVE to bury things in my yard – Deluxe Halloween Bag of Skeleton Bones – 28 Piece Set is the perfect start! Available at Amazon

This makes a very cool decoration for just inside the front porch. Creepy Coffin Fogger with Color Changing Effects Available at Amazon

Jolt – The electrocution by Fright Catalog He’s expensive and SO on my Halloween wish list. Perhaps I can replace one of the kids with him when the first child moves out in a few years.

Bloody Chainsaw with Sound – the kids youth group has this and I’m tellin’ ya, there’s nothing better to bring out that spontanious scare when hosting a party of a haunted house.

My ex-sis-in-law has one of these to go with her Witches outfit. It truly makes the ensemble complete Boiling Cauldron (Mist) with Standavailable at Amazon

Prisoner Ground Breaker – I totally love the color, the look on his face and well, I did say I like to bury things in my yard, right? This fine dude is available at BuyCostumes

Look at this handsome devil! Solar powered even. Just plant him in your yard and let the sun do the rest! This cute dude is available at BuyCostumes

What’s Halloween without a few severed body parts? Halloween Only has arms, hands, feet, legs and even your choice of male and female heads.

Rats are only good for one thing! Halloween and that’s ONLY because this little varment is remote controlled. He’s available at Halloween Only and with a remote and a rat, you’re bound to lure a few screams.

Check out this babe! She kinda looks like me before my first cup of coffee – but that’s a whole other story! Miss Thang here is brand new this year at BuyCostumes and is going quick! She’s not animated and she doesn’t light up, but with a face like that, why should she?

Hellraiser Puzzle Box – Not only is this a very cool Halloween prop – but it would make an awesome Christmas gift for your own beloved Hellraiser fan. Pinhead was my brother’s favorite costume as a teen, so I may just have to add this one to my own list. Pretty cool, huh?

Times have sure changed since I was a kid and I’m sure they have for you too!

What’s some of your favorite Halloween gadgets and gizmos? Surely you have one!

These halloween thingamejigs are absolutely brilliant! We never had stuff like this when we were kids – mind you we did have bubonic plague and witch burnin’ – only kidding, but it was a long time ago!

That Hellraiser puzzle box is great – I loved those films too (and I can’t believe how long ago they came out, too!)

Thanks for bringing me up to date with what’s around nowadays.

I like the stuff that you can put out in the yard. It’s neat when it can stick out of the ground. Somehow it makes it seem real.

I still have my previous halloween stuff at my home. Probably I will re-use back and get some new items to make it more surprise to my kids

Your website is amazing! I found your blog by googling “dofollow blogs”.

We get a lot of kids at our house that are 10-12 years old, with no costumes. I think Halloween is for little guys and gals and their parents. The big kids always seem to smash our pumpkins and wreak havoc. I did the same thing (unfortunately) when I was their age!

As a Halloween nut, I vote to throw in a Lightning Machine. You can find them at local Halloween stores or mass market stores (Target, etc). Mine even has a motion detector on it. It gets a great response at parties when you put it in say, the bathroom. Poor soul goes in peacefully, turns on the light and the room is filled with strobing lightening and thunder! :)

hehe, I LOVE Halloween and decorating. One favorite you don’t have up are the severed body parts that move. It makes it really spooky to see an arm/hand looking like it was just chopped off moving around on your porch. hehe. I love that electric chair and the cauldron.

your Halloween stuff is abit scary la…i like to be a magician….other those scary “people”…

Gayla October 18, 2007 at 8:46 pm

I love the severed body parts too.

I know it’s all scary kind of stuff, but it’s the one holiday where we can be scary! Everything else is all pretty, cheerful and foo-foo

I love the skeleton, coffin and prisoner ground breaker. They look scary but very real. Can’t wait to see the face of people when they see that in my house. If I got to choose one out of the 3, I might choose the coffin.
