I’ve never been very good with online calendars and have found myself sending email reminders to myself that usually get pushed back behind 50 emails – and from there, lost into oblivion. There are many times I’d write things down so that I would remember, only to forget them anyway.
Until I met Sandy. Sandy’s a virtual assistant. I email Sandy at my own personal contact email address for her about anything I need to remember — appointments, contact details, kids practice times, game dates and times, shopping sales, whatever. Sandy takes it down and then sends me a reminder when I need it. For example, I email Sandy with:
Remind me about Conference Call on Tuesday, 1-2 PM @weekly
Every week, 15 minutes prior to my meeting, I’ll receive a reminder from Sandy.
When I need to add an item to a task list – I simply send her a quick email it and it will be added. To receive a weekly reminder, I simply add the “@weekly” tag. I can request one email with the with tasks for the day.
While I prefer email, you can interact with Sandy through email, the web or even text messages. The possibilities are endless.
Sandy is free – and so much easier to use than online calendars and to do lists. Give her a whirl and let me know what you think visit IWantSandy.com
