Have you noticed how much quicker the content loads here on MomGadget versus how slowly it loaded even a week ago?
My awesome blogging bud Mike found the fix and he’s sharing the secret on NerdZapper. Check it out!

This is so much faster, Gayla. I stumbled Mike’s post. Great job Mike.
I noticed before ya emailed me. LOVE it, going to see if I can do that now to my site.
That is great. It also is a great example that often technical solutions do not require solving the problem people think. As he states in his post the page does not actually load any faster. But that isn’t what really matters. What matters is how soon the page appears to load. So by moving the delaying items later (so the page displays quicker (and just adds on the extra stuff after the person is already looking at the top part of the page) provides the users with what they want without actually speeding up the time the whole page takes to load.
That’s much better, Gayla! Great of Mike to help out, and I’ll bear his tips in mind for the future.
Bye for now.
