Octomom Nadya Suleman on The View

Today on The View, Nadya Suleman, the woman who famously gave birth to octuplets, when she already had six children at home, made her first trip to New York City to chat live with the Women of The View.

Watching Nadya during any interview, to me, is comparable to watching a train wreck. You know you’re going to cringe – you know you’re going to shake your head – but you can’t help but watch.

I personally believe Nadya is a very likeable person – she’s very friendly and seems to be very kind really. And while I realize Nadya doesn’t owe anyone an explanation – she did land herself in the public eye. Taxpayers of California deserve answers if they are supporting her and all her children. Aside from that, what Octomom does is really none of my business.

I know what it was like raising twins. I can’t imagine how detached I would feel from my kids if I had that many.

Caring for twin babies was difficult. There were times I felt like I was cheating my babies out of bonding time – while other times I felt like I was being cheated.

But to have EIGHT? That’s just not fathomable.

I am a participant in a Mom Central campaign for ABC Daytime and will receive a tote bag or other The View branded items to facilitate my review.
