I have used sonicare for over 5 years (at least) now, and wouldn’t use anything else. On any trip to the States (sigh) I would stock up on replacement brush heads.

I honestly believe that the initial cost is far outweighed by the money saved on dental treatments :)

My original Sonicare was only replaced last year :)

Angi, you’re the very reason I was looking so forward to trying out the new Sonicare. It really is everything you told me it would be and then some :)

It looks like I found what I will ask for christmass…

Need to see if Amazon has it in France.
(I didn’t find it, but Philips has a dedicated Sonicare website)

I love my new Sonicare Flexcare. It is available on Ebay and Amazon for less than retail and replacement brushheads are there too.

I have used Sonicare in the past and found it improved my oral hygiene. I have recently seen new research that shows the Japanese are working with a tooth brush that uses light to clean teeth.

Just bought the new Sonicare + (plus) HX 6992 on Ebay. I will check back in a few weeks and give my “evaluation” of the brush and UV sanitizer performance.

I would like to buy an ultrasonic toothbrush, but can’t find the answer to a couple questions. I hope you will be able to answer them.
1) Is there a difference between a “Sonic” toothbrush and an “Ultrasonic” toothbrush?
2) Do you know what the differences are between the Philips FlexCarePlus toothbrush and the Philips HealthyWhite toothbrush (the one my local Costco is currently carrying)?
I’d appreciate any input you can offer.
