Get Cheek to Cheek Softness for Valentine’s Day

I admit it. I am an exfoliant addict. For me, there is nothing more invigorating than a fruity scented body scrub to smooth elbows, knees, and heels. But when it comes to my face, I want something that is a bit kinder and gentler to my skin. For years I used an apricot facial scrub until I discovered the product did not contain exactly what the label implied. I also learned that the harsh ingredients were actually doing more damage than good.

Then along came EnPointe Pirouette Bamboo Microderm scrub. Developed by female plastic surgeon Dr. Christine Rodgers, Pirouette is formulated free of parabens, sulfates and hormones.  Made from a blend of natural ingredients including crushed bamboo and sugar, the tiny exfoliating beads are so fine they are almost invisible to the naked eye.  A small amount of the rich creamy scrub is all you need to reveal a softer more radiant complexion.  After washing my face, I gently applied the lightly scented scrub in a soft circular motion.  While I could feel the effects of the scrub, it wasn’t painful or irritating. Upon rinsing with cold water and patting dry, my skin was noticeably brighter and softer, but the true test of the product came when I applied my moisturizer. Never before has my facial cream gone on so smoothly. The texture of my skin made the lotion glide on and spread evenly.

At $45 for 6 ounces, Pirouette is a bit pricier than my off the shelf apricot scrub, but considering I never skimp on face wash or moisturizer why should my exfoliant be any different? Plus, as I will only use a small amount once or twice a week it is sure to last longer than my old daily scrub.  It truly is a small price to pay for soft, healthy skin.

This Valentine’s Day, get cheek to cheek softness with EnPointe Pirouette Bamboo Microderm scrub.

Having also used this product, I agree! Much better than that “apricot” junk I have used for years!

Hi Susan,

How long does it last for you? It seem a little pricey.

Hi Christine!

Yes, it is a bit pricey but it is also a quality product and like I said, I pay more for my moisturizer so why should I skimp on my scrub? I reviewed this product near the end of January and have been using it faithfully at least twice a week since. I still have quite a bit left, enough to last at least another couple of months or longer. My skin feels great, it is moisturized and smooth. My Bare Minerals makeup looks even better! I hope you like it as much as I do! Thanks for stopping in!

Susan
