I would use this to track my daily walking, as I am just starting a new program. I need to eat healthier and work in some daily exercise.

Jennifer M April 17, 2009 at 9:07 pm

I would use this watch as my own little Jiminy Cricket – as that little voice inside my head (or literally on my wrist) urging me to park the car a little further away or to walk up the stairs instead of pushing that elevator button!

I do well with the kind of motivation this watch provides. I used to wear a pedometer daily (until it finally broke) and I would challenge myself to walk a little further every day and it worked great! I lost a little weight and found myself making healthier eating choices.

Since having my baby almost five months ago, I have been struggling with getting motivated to get up and get moving and I honestly think this will be a great kick in the pants to help me get my exercise groove back! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

The features which I really like and would use are Training targets – calories or distance; provides alerts when you reach your goal.
That would be very helpful and motivating especially on those days when you are not in the exercising mood, tracking calories would be a push to do it anyway!

john pratt April 17, 2009 at 11:54 pm

i would use this watch to help me improve my health. it tracks how healthy you are and if you are improving your health. each day i would do more than the previous day until i looked extremely healthy. thanks in advance and i hope all of your days are blessed.

Douglas April 18, 2009 at 1:21 am

i do a lot of walking… this would be great

Susan Ledet April 18, 2009 at 3:52 am

I would give it to my Father to help him with his fitness routine. He’s 81 years old and is very fit and works at staying fit and healthy. This would help him stay motivated and on track.
Thanks for the great giveaway.

Bev April 18, 2009 at 3:59 am

The Training Record would help keep me motivated and organized with goals. The Calories Burned feature would also be very handy with knowing what I’ve accomplished for each workout.

Jay F. April 18, 2009 at 4:27 am

It would be good to see if I burn any calories throughout the day!

Jammie April 18, 2009 at 5:29 am

I need something to motiavate me and if i had this I would beable to compete with my husband and see who can lose the most

sharon April 18, 2009 at 6:55 am

This sounds awesome. My health condition isn’t too good right now. This would help me keep track of my progress toward my health goals. I don’t really have a way of measuring my exercise currently since I just fit it in during breaks. This would definitely keep me more mindful of being active and staying motivated. My family and I could each really use this product. Thanks for the giveaway!

christopher h April 18, 2009 at 7:25 am

i’d use this to see if i can exercise more during my daily activities, as opposed to just when i am exercising

Tara Hill April 18, 2009 at 10:00 am

I would use it to set goals and track progress to lose this baby weight! Thanks for the chance!

Janice Wright April 18, 2009 at 1:27 pm

Anytime you can “measure” things, it’s easier to see that what you doing is paying off. It would inspire me to work harder at my workout.

Hesper F April 18, 2009 at 2:27 pm

I would use it to assist in my weight loss journey! I love that it shows calories burned and distance covered.

c. clemens April 18, 2009 at 3:08 pm

I Would love to have this, i think it would help me keep track in my busy life and TTC again.
I have lost 22 lbs so far!

Kayla Walker April 18, 2009 at 4:51 pm

I need to start losing weight so this would be a good thing to have in order to start.

Kimberly M April 18, 2009 at 5:08 pm

If I can get in the habit of being active, I tend to stay active, so I’d use this watch as a way of motivating me to stay on my feet and active more often each day.

Diane Hamel April 18, 2009 at 5:41 pm

I hope i win!!!!

Carrie Baird April 18, 2009 at 6:22 pm

gina snow April 18, 2009 at 7:02 pm

Gabriel J. April 18, 2009 at 7:45 pm

This would help me in my weight loss routine.

Steve Scott April 18, 2009 at 9:47 pm

My wife is trying to get motivated to lose the extra 50 lbs that she has been carrying around after having our boys. I think this might help her.

Sue Farrell April 18, 2009 at 9:51 pm

This thing sounds amazing–I would use it to docoument my activity. I have goals for myself, but recording the times and distances are hard to do—I just seem to always be estimating.

Brooke April 18, 2009 at 10:04 pm

I would use it to first see how active I am… Then adjust my activity and set some goals… Thus hopefully I can see about hitting my goals and losing this baby weight…

Beverley Justice April 18, 2009 at 10:34 pm

I’m reasonalby active now, but I think wearing this watch would encourage me to step it up a mite.

Sharold April 18, 2009 at 10:56 pm

I hae been trying to walk everyday and this migth help track my progress.

Michael April 18, 2009 at 11:16 pm

One thing I’ve noticed when working out is that I overestimate how much I’ve done or how far I’ve gone. This handy little gadget would take the guesswork out of that! :)

trishden April 18, 2009 at 11:20 pm

I feel this watch will motivate me to keep track of my routine. I sometimes think I’m doing ok when in fact I’ve been slacking. This will be proof positive that I did or I didn’t. Thanks for a great giveaway!

jayne April 19, 2009 at 12:46 am

I am on a mission to lose some weight here !! This would really help me keep on track!

ky2here April 19, 2009 at 12:50 am

Continue daily exercise, jog at least 4 miles each sat and sun.

Leann S April 19, 2009 at 2:06 am

I could see how many calories I am burning when I walk my dogs.

Erin Walsh April 19, 2009 at 2:40 am

Over the past six years I’ve pretty much managed a complete lifestyle makeover. Quit smoking, changed eating habits, started walking and doing arm weights for exercise and have lost weight.

I’m in the final stretch of the weight loss, using the Polar Watch, would probably be an effective way to monitor, what is the optimum amount of daily exercise to achieve what I really want to achieve. Not to mention, how to maintain once I get there.

Thanks for the chance to win!

Chrysa April 19, 2009 at 2:56 am

I would use this to set goals and see how I am doing.

Linz April 19, 2009 at 3:15 am

This for sure will make me take exercising more seriously !
At the moment I havent a clue how good or bad I am doing.

Dr Benson Yeung April 19, 2009 at 4:00 am

Hi Gayla,
I don’t want to wind the watch. I live in HK and am not eligible any way. I just want to comment about how neat and pleasant your blog is. Thanks for sharing.

J McCauley April 19, 2009 at 4:18 am

Looking to start working out again and riding my bike to work, and I would love one of these nifty watches to help me do my thang.

Barbara April 19, 2009 at 4:40 am

Thanks for the contest!

Mollie G. April 19, 2009 at 4:46 am

As much as anything, I’m very curious to see just how much “moving around” I do during the course of a day’s work — which takes me, repeatedly, during the day, across several buildings and up and down several floors of the ORMC Medical complex where I work. But yes, my exercise routine would benefit too from some input as to what type of movement I do NOT get enough of during the average day! Thanks for the chance here!!

Pam T April 19, 2009 at 5:13 am

This would be great, I would use it to count calories

Leigh Nichols April 19, 2009 at 5:48 am

This would be wonderful as I am just getting back “into the swing of things” as far as being active and setting goals. Any tiny bit of progress that shows would be encouraging.

chastidy April 19, 2009 at 6:15 am

I would use to it to decided how much harder I need to workout. Thanks :)

Donna Holmberg April 19, 2009 at 7:08 am

I have recently been diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic, and I would use the watch to help encourage and support my goal of getting healthier and more active. I can use the watch to help me reach new target goals (i.e. reaching a higher activity level at least 3 times a week. I’m the kind of person who responds well to situations where I see immediate results, and seeing the watch change as my activity level increases would give me a specific goal to work towards.

Kathleen S. April 19, 2009 at 7:21 am

I would really enjoy using this. I have really been trying to exercise more and recently started walking during my two daily breaks at work. This could help me track my progress. I also walk the dog every evening, so this would help me keep track of how long I’m physically active every day. Thanks so much!

timmy April 19, 2009 at 7:22 am

i would use it

Jennifer gersch April 19, 2009 at 9:34 am

Cassy April 19, 2009 at 10:18 am

Ann Fantom April 19, 2009 at 11:46 am

I would use the watch to see if I’m reaching my goals and track my progress

Erma April 19, 2009 at 12:14 pm

I would love the chance to win, thanks.

Sheila H April 19, 2009 at 12:54 pm

I would use it to set goals for myself, and also in my daily routine, to help me get more out of things I normally do! Thanks!!
