I need to start losing weight so this would be a good thing to have in order to start on that journey.

vicky April 19, 2009 at 1:32 pm

i love that this measures the calories that I would burn and help me with my weight loss. Since I moved to the beach I have been walking everyday and have already lost 20 pounds. This would be a great tool for the rest of my weight loss journey

thanks

Nanette Olson April 19, 2009 at 1:41 pm

THEDOGLADY April 19, 2009 at 1:45 pm

HOPE I WIN. SINCE I BECAME DISABLED (FIBRO-LUPUS) I HAVE NOT EXERCISED AT ALL EXCEPT FOR WALKING THE DOG. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT WIN FOR ME. GOOD LUCK TO ALL

flared0ne April 19, 2009 at 1:56 pm

I’d really like to be able to authoritatively dispute the accusations that “you just sit all day”. ~I~ know better, but PROOF would be useful! AND having some tangible trackable results would in fact get me moving even more, as well!

Veronica Garrett April 19, 2009 at 2:06 pm

This would let me know that I am achieving my fitness goals. I would kow that I have achieved the goals I have set for myself to get in shape and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Michelle Hansen April 19, 2009 at 2:25 pm

Hello. I am so excited about my life style change:)))) Started eating a healthy diet and exercising 4-5 times a week. Always tried to hit the gym but not changing my eating habits the weight stayed on. After discovering spinning class at my local YMCA I am down 21 pounds with alot more to go. Most individuals have a heart rate monitor in the class. It is an item that is extremely important to your fitness / exercise regimen.

Have a healthy day!!

pat jasmin April 19, 2009 at 2:30 pm

any thing to help me would be greatly appreciated, as i have 80 more lbs. to go, lost 20 so far ,thank you

Janet Burke April 19, 2009 at 2:35 pm

I would use it to help me with losing more weight by monitering my activities.

snoah April 19, 2009 at 3:01 pm

I have been diagnosed as pre-diabetic and to keep my glucose levels down, I am increasing my exercise daily. The Fitness Watch would help me in achieving this. Thanks for the contest

juan martinez April 19, 2009 at 3:20 pm

I would use it to make sure I do my 10000 steps a day that i need to do.

Betty C April 19, 2009 at 3:52 pm

I would use this to make sure I keep on track with my fitness plan. It’s easy to think you are getting more exercise than you really are.

Jennifer Jozwiak April 19, 2009 at 4:23 pm

I would put my goals in the watch and it would make me more motivated to make my them. Plus just having a watch would help me know how long Ive been exercising.

JOdi April 19, 2009 at 4:40 pm

Gosh, I really need to lose some weight, and have just started a work out routine, Iwould use this watch daily.

Jerry April 19, 2009 at 5:08 pm

I would wear each as i walk my five miles everyday and on the weekends when I do 10Km Volks marches.

joan olson April 19, 2009 at 5:22 pm

Would definately use daily to keep track of my calories burned… And would use weekly to put together a plan to increase my activity

Angie P April 19, 2009 at 5:23 pm

I think that if I wore this I’d be more active. I would be able to see how many(or how FEW!) steps I’ve taken, calories burned, etc. Wearing this would motivate me to do more.

Laura DeLuca April 19, 2009 at 5:32 pm

I would use it to help me watch my weight so I don’t gain too much during my pregnancy

Karin V. April 19, 2009 at 5:40 pm

I think it would be great to be able to track your progress with this watch and be able to see areas where you need to improve. The graphs would be very helpful with that.

Katherine Dunn April 19, 2009 at 5:48 pm

I would love to win this for my sister! She works out 4-5 times a week and I know she could really use something like this for her workouts. I think it would really help her stay on track and keep up with her goals.

Diane April 19, 2009 at 5:54 pm

I have triplet sons who just turned 7 and another son who is 5 and a half. Prior to having children, I was very active. I actually ran a marathon, and to get through the training, I tracked my progress and joined an online community for support. It was very inspiring and got me from basically not running much at all to completing a marathon. Since the birth of the boys, I am not as physically active as I used to be. If I had the Polar FA20, it would allow me to track my daily activity, and get support from the online community, which would inspire me to be even more active!

Thanks for offering such a great give-away.

Karen D April 19, 2009 at 6:12 pm

I’m very busy and would use it for all activies. From picking up the kids to going to the gym. I would need only one watch.

Cassie M April 19, 2009 at 6:14 pm

I would use the FA20 to count how many calories I burn when biking!

Jen S. April 19, 2009 at 6:21 pm

I’d use it help myself set targets – that would motivate me to stay on track and keep working out because I’d be able to see if I’m making improvements.

Mark Flynn April 19, 2009 at 7:00 pm

I started at 278 pounds and have a target of 195. I am now at 255, so I am making progress. A device like this would help me keep track of calories and help motivate me for exercise – my main exercise is walking to the train for work for 45 mins and climbing stairs. This would help me gauge progress and also encourage me to walk more to set new personal best records.

Thanks for creating a cool contest.

Courtney April 19, 2009 at 7:02 pm

I could definitely use this! It is so hard trying to keep track of your activities all day when you’re a busy mom. I truly believe that my fitness could be vastly improved if only I had a true understanding of where I stand. What a great product!

Thanks for the opportunity :)

I would love to have this. I have the type that uses a chest strap and it is a real pain.

I often jog or ride my stationary bike, and really like to make sure I am in my target zone. This watch is perfect

Gianna April 19, 2009 at 11:05 pm

I would love to have this for my daily walking sessions :)

Becky Grady April 19, 2009 at 11:18 pm

This would let me know if I have been active enough each day. It would help with my fitness goals of losing weight, by letting me know when I am working hard enough. I would really like the feature of the FA20 that sounds an alarm when I have met my goal for the day.

Dominick Scavone April 20, 2009 at 12:06 am

Susan Marina Brown Lane April 20, 2009 at 12:54 am

I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Extra exercise and walking are a needed part of my new lifestyle. I have lost 20 pounds, and need to lose 55 more to be in the high end of my healthy weight range. The features – especially the calories burned and steps taken features – of this watch, would really be motivating! Thank you so much for the opportunity to win one! lanemarinab@aol.com

i need to get back in shape…start walking and exercising more

Kathy S April 20, 2009 at 2:43 am

I’ve got the sneakers and the socks, the iPod and a bit of motivation. This Polar FA20 Fitness Watch would really complete what I need to get my behind out the door for a nice long brisk daily walk. I think it would help me to be more determined if I could keep track of exactly how many steps I’m taking and for how long!

Becky April 20, 2009 at 2:49 am

I would use this to track my fitness progress.

Lily Kwan April 20, 2009 at 2:53 am

I would use the FA20 to get the most out of my everyday routines and to improve my overall health by using it to keep track of my fitness routine.

Charlene Kuser April 20, 2009 at 2:53 am

This watch would be a good incentive as I could track how much I
walk, my heart rate and time I acheive this in.I would then be able to
actually have a marker for my goals
