Popular baby bottles may be dangerous

This is quite scary!

An environmental group said new laboratory tests at the University of Missouri found that the chemical, bisphenol A, leached into liquids at potentially dangerous levels from baby bottles sold by five leading brands.

Wow, thanks for bringing this to my attention. Even though I plan on bf my baby, I’ll be using bottles from time to time as well.

Hi there,

Yup BPA is a rather huge concern these days. Most major brands already have BPA free baby bottles now. Thanks for the info!

The link to CNN Money is O.K but the page was not available anymore. Could you let me know the five leading brands? I have a baby who is using a baby bottle and I am dying to know the brands. Please.

It’s amazing what you find out when it’s too late…my children are fine but no longer babies…funny how you know what is safe, ie glass over plastic, but go for the most convenient. It didn’t occur to us as parents that the plastics used by reputable companies could harm our children. Makes you wonder what else they are putting in baby products these days.
