I have normal to dry middle-aged skin – emphasis on the middle-aged. So when a review request for Roc’s Multi-Correxion Skin Perfecting System came down the pike, I jumped on it. When it arrived: Daily Perfecting Cleanser, Daily Perfecting Creme SPF 30 and the tube of Intensive Night Concentrate, I was ready to banish the tiny lines starting around my eyes and the evil that was beginning to furrow my brow. The box promised diminished appearance of brown spots, smoother and softer skin and hold onto your hats, a more luminous complexion. I saddled up that horse and was ready to wow the world with my lovely fresh skin in as little as two weeks.
I want to say that RoC’s Skin Perfecting System revealed a younger woman trapped beneath my saggy old skin but by the end of week one, the microbeads had scraped away the surface of my face, leaving peeling and painful red skin. During the week, I kept on with the system but finally had to stop. I returned to my former moisturizer and a week later, I had the soft skin RoC promised but I won’t ever touch that product again. Sorry RoC!

I recently moved from the south to Michigan last year. I quickly learned how great Roc products are after taking a good beating from the winter weather I was clearly not used to.
