I recently received a SanDisk Sansa® slotRadio to review.
Reading the literature the slotRadio doesn’t appear very impressive. The website says It’s a small, stylish music player that comes bundled with a slotRadio™ Mix card preloaded with 1,000 full-length songs featuring artists from the Billboard® charts, and professionally arranged into a variety of genre-themed playlists. To be honest my first thought was “what’s the point” I mean you can get an MP3 player and have music you choose not just a genre of pre-mixed music.
When the slotRadio arrived I had to eat those words. It’s well made, sturdy and small. It uses a micro SD card which you can purchase pre-loaded or you can download your own music to a disk. In addition it’s an FM radio. That was a surprise to me. The bundle comes with a protective cover, earbuds, USB cord with AC adapter for charging. The unit also has a belt clip on the back. The sound quality from the slotRadio was above what I was expecting and I was very impressed with this unit and felt it was well worth the price.
As mentioned above the slotRadio comes with a pre-loaded disk with a mix of top 100 songs from the Billboard® charts. Additional disks in your genre of choice can be purchased.
This would make a great gift for those that are not computer saavy and not able to download music or those who don’t have a computer. It is also a good gift for those who can download music but want the option of a radio without having to carry 2 units with them.
slotRadio is available from SanDisk for $79.99 with pre-loaded cards for $39.99. The slotRadio can also be purchased from Radio Shack and Best Buy.

Nice one! Actually, my friend got a few sansa mp3 player and it’s pretty cool though…I think of it as durable one! I the design and size is neat…Anyway, thanks for sharing us great post like this…I love to come back in a regular basis so post more of the subject!!!
