Skibz – The Bib Alternative – A MomGadget Review

by Gayla Baer

skibz skibz2

There are just some things in life that never seem to change – ties, three piece suits, and baby bibs.

Well, that was until some incredibly brilliant person came up with a amazingly brilliant alternative to the boring old-fashioned drool catcher.

Skibz!!

Skibz is a scarf-bib that fits snuggly around a babies neck with a snap attachment. Skibz is made with 100% cotton, absorbs moisture and helps eliminate drool all over a child’s outfit, your outfit or even grandma. Skibz is available in a variety of fun designer prints from denim, flowers, flames, skulls and so much more!

Just because your baby isn’t a Shiloh Nouvel Jolie Pitt or Suri Cruise headlining on The Celebrity Baby Blog again doesn’t mean they can’t be just as trendy and then some.

Now, to take this trend a bit further for all you single childless folks out there — I’m tellin’ ya, you don’t have to miss the fun of Skibz! I think Paris Hilton should stock up on these hot little numbers — Tink would look amazing in the Hula!

Priced at $15 it’s not like you’d be giving up your first born! Remember, they’re only little once and cute, Cute, CUTE baby items just don’t come along that often — especially for boys!

Oh, a prize! My girlfriend would look great in one of these AND if she fell asleep on the sofa her clothes would stay drool free! :D

David *tsk tsk*! Just for being smart with me — I hope you find yourself needing THREE of these Skibz very soon :P

I had twins so I’m bound to wish at LEAST triplets on everyone! Including my kids LOL

haha, ya’ll crack me up. Okay, I had to see what these bibs looked like after chatting with you. Honestly, I like these better because they don’t look like bibs. They’re cute! Course I’m a country-person myself.

So many of the “new” inventions for babies are things that moms have been wishing for or using all along, but never even imagined to package and sell. :D I love this idea. It is definitely one I will pass on to friends and family.

Cute – much nicer than the standard “I love my Mommy” and “Spit Happens” bibs!

Cool idea, I do patent design work for people, I have a patent of my own. It is always interesting to see the ideas that people come up with. Truth about new products is that, contrary to popular association of “inventions” to some kind of rocket science, that the greatest inventions and new products out there are based on basic needs or improvements on similar items. I’ll check back in on future postings.
