(((GAYLA)))
I hate this week too, hasn’t been good. Hope yours starts getting better. There are no words of wisdom, but I definitely suggest once that car is up and running you go to a starbucks or local coffee shop and unwind…at least for an hour.
What a day! Hope the week gets better for you soon!
Oh, Gayla!
My heart goes out to you! When it rains it really does pour, doesn’t it?
I’m putting on my Adjuster’s hat now. Your carpet probably will not dry without mold. I would insist on new carpeting. One month after we moved into our house 5 years ago an improperly installed dishwasher hose burst down through to our finished basement. We had a professional restoration team within 4 hours and the fans were running for 4 days! We ended up with new carpeting throughout the basement.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend. You deserve it!
@ Eliza – thanks for the hugs chicky! You know I’d hug your neck if I could!
@ Eve – thanks for stopping by and for the warm thoughts. Things have started looking up. These spells don’t last long, but they leave a nice big dent when they do hit.
@ Bonita – nice to know someone in the know. I’ll be keeping your card
and for Garry if he happens to peak in again, thanks for the link and comments. You rock!
I hope this week is MUCH better than last week was for you Gayla.
(I can’t help it – you were just too funny – I laughed my heart out! it remembered some of my days)
!
Hope it’s getting far better than this now and all clouds are long gone
when I’ll have one of my b (as in bad) days, I’ll come share it with you, I’m sure we’ll find something funny in it at the end!
K
Oh, I feel for you. I think you have paid your dues. I have been through the air movers and dehumidifiers in the basement. The bright side, if there is one, is that after this forced basement cleaning you will get rid of a bunch of junk that you had probably been meaning to go through for years.
