My heart goes out to you! When it rains it really does pour, doesn't it? I'm putting on my Adjuster's hat now. Your carpet probably will not dry without mold. I would insist on new carpeting. One month after we moved into our house 5 years ago an improperly installed dishwasher hose burst down through to our finished basement. We had a professional restoration team within 4 hours and the fans were running for 4 days! We ended up with new carpeting throughout the basement. I hope you have a fantastic weekend.
