Sound ID 400 Universal Bluetooth Headset

I’m the one you keep hearing about.  The one that refuses to conform yet needs to so she doesn’t make her kids look bad in front of the other techno-geeks.  I don’t have a Blackberry, I don’t give a rip about my DVD settings and have no desire for an iPod or its copycats.  I’ve turned into my mother.

I gave the Sound ID 400 Universal Bluetooth Headset a try for the holiday season and I may be coming around to the 21st century.  I don’t look like a complete dork with it’s small black headset comfortably poking out of my ear and am learning to love my new little friend.  Very easy to install on my cell phone, I’m happy with the volume settings and am assured by those I talk to on the other end that they can hear me quite well without me speaking in small words and at various tones. See what I go through for you people?  At least I did it at the mall so I can embarrass my tweens like a good mother should.  Other features include Automatic Volume Control to help reduce background noise – I wonder if that works on husbands?

The set comes with easy to use directions, an ear loop, two ear bud replacements and a charger.  Not a bad set up. I think I’ll get this for my mother for Christmas, then we can both wander around gesturing wildly with our hands while we talk – something harder to do with the cell phone than you’d think.  ;)
