I thought it would be nice to start doing a month post on the update of our life. So here goes, MomGadget Eliza has been pretty busy but not as busy as I was last month. Can you believe I had two milestones in one month? Yep, Little A and Soccerboy both had birthdays where I felt like I was losing my first baby and last baby. See, Little A went from being my baby to my 3 year old little boy, SoccerBoy entered his teen years.
Little A as many know is my little dare devil and as much as I hate to say this, he still is. He just loves spooking me and keeping me on edge. Since he turned 3 we are definitely pushing the whole potty training bit. I think there are two big issues with the potty training.
1. We don’t want him soaking the bed, and most of the time he sneaks back into my bed. Which of course makes this an adjustment issue to get him to stay in his bed. Advice?
2. The second is that a certain someone (who’ll remain anonymous) doesn’t want to worry about him peeing while they are out and about.
Off the potty talk, Little A is also wanting to learn to do his alphabet and numbers more. So, I’m on a hunt for more educational programs/books/videos/toys/etc. He loves spending time outdoors, especially now that it is warmer.

BabyGirl is 6 and doesn’t turn 7 until the summer. She’s still quiet but loves to do imaginary play or play with her Littlest Pet Shop/My Little Ponies and Barbie dolls. She’s learning to read now in Kindergarten and is looking towards the Just learned to read books, so I’m searching for anything that’ll inspire her. She’s no longer ashamed of her glasses either, in fact she’ll freak if she is outside and realizes they aren’t on her face. She still loves the color pink and her dresses.

BalletGirl is 9 and turns 10 this summer, another age I won’t feel comfortable with. She’s totally into all things teen. Oh and Justin Bieber, mainly his song “Baby.” She loves to spend time reading, currently she’s sitting beside me reading a “Beverly Cleary” book. Remember her? She loves nail things, temporary tattoos, earrings, etc. But the subject that is killing her is 4th grade math, so looks like another quest. Her favorite color is green.
This leads of to SoccerBoy, now 13 years old and loves video games, certain school subjects, facebook and of course playing outdoors. But he reminds me that he loves his DVDs, in fact for his birthday he asked that we just get him a gift card to the Vintage Stock out here, a dvd trade store.
The husband and myself? Oh, I almost forgot about us. The husband bought a used car when the other died on the highway. It needs a ton of work, so he’ll be loving this spring weather soon. He’s also become a big fan of Kingdom of Camelot (facebook) and Netflix. Currently he’s reading one of his fantasy books. As for me, I’m back in college (online), bought some domains and having fun reading blogs and books.
Here’s some of my most recent reviews if you are interested in what I’m looking at lately:
Kimochis, Bink’d,Sweeney’s Snake Repellent, Sonic’s Deep Sea Tot Toys, Greenie Tots Meals and Energizer’s Weather Preparedness Kit.

Does he have a big stuffed toy to hug on if he gets scared? One of those horrible child sized ones that are impossible to fit on the toy shelf? And maybe a little sleep mat to carry into your room to sleep on instead of sneaking into your bed and wetting it? We’ve had those solutions work for different kids in my family.
