SunMate UV Detector

by Marna

sumateAs we all know the grand entrance of spring brings baseball games and all other outdoor activities that we parents and children participate in. As a worrisome mother of three sun worshiping boys, I found the SunMate UV detector the perfect gadget to minimize my springtime worries. I get to decide the strength of sun block to put on my children and myself as we set out toward the ball fields. The sunMate is light and compact and really does the job that it was intended to. SunMate helps determine when the uv rays are too dangerous for my boys even on the cloudiest of days. You know those days when we think we can’t possibly get burned by the sun and her bronzing rays. This product is very easy to use and simple to understand with just a push of the button. I’m keen on any gadget that offers protection in a user friendly package!

If you and your family participate in any outdoor activities this summer, make sure to keep a SunMate handy – so you can get beyond the worry and on to making cherished memories.

SunMate retails for $19.95 and is available for purchase online.

this is so perfect because sun block application is such a hard thing to remember for your kids!

Good tool. Sun is dangerous to our skin. I never expose my skin after 8 o’clock in the morning, unless it’s cloudy. But make sure to get enough Vitamin D, from sun shine before 8 am or from supplements.

UV Detector Sunmate can alert you when the UV intensity exceeds dangerous limits so you can apply the proper steps to protect your skin and eyes. Good info.
