Holiday Gift Guide: TV Games Sing Scene

Do you love to sing…in the comfort of your own home? That’s me for sure! Get me up on stage to belt out some tunes and I would freak out. So would the crowd!! LOL.

Thanks to JAKKS Pacific, my family and I had the chance to see what it feels like to be a rock star for a minute. We reviewed the Sing Scene Pop version and had a blast attempting to get the words and the notes right. I thought this would be a toy that my daughter (12) would get the most enjoyment out of, but our whole family has had fun with it. We were laughing so hard the other night my stomach hurt.

If you have a child who dreams of being a rock star or just loves to sing, this will make a great gift and it’s so simple to hook up and get started. The words are along the bottom and it was fun to see yourself hitting (or not hitting) the right notes. I will admit that I attempted Miley Cyrus’s rendition of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and got booed. Sniff, sniff. Hey, it was hard!

My daughter is looking forward to having some friends over, plugging this baby in and singing away. It is THE perfect toy/game for a fun girl get together. Thank goodness my daughter’s room is in the basement. HA!
