Two days ago, the television in our bedroom went KaPut! The sound was totally gone.
Parting with the first real credit purchase I ever made as an adult *cough cough* 22 years ago was such a bitter sweet moment of reflection that didn’t last beyond the moment this lightweight beauty was set up.
I was surprised most at the weight difference between the dinosaur television and this sleek black beauty. That alone is worth gold to me – no more back breaking labor during my house cleaning sprees.
With the kids gone this entire weekend, you’d think hubby and I would have other things planned, but not a chance. We’ve been holding down the bed watching action and drama movies in a way we never knew existed!
As much as I hate spending money on frivolous purchases, this bad boy was on sale and priced as if the appliance store knew we were coming.
While the price on Amazon is great, hubby and I paid much less for this bad boy. It’s well worth shopping around to get the absolute best price!
The Olevia 332H 32″ LCD HD Ready Monitor available on Amazon too!

That’s actually a pretty good price for that monitor.
If you’re not widescreen blogging, you’re missing out. I picked up Dell’s 24 inch widescreen monitor a few days ago and am happy, happy, HAPPY with the purchase. Nothing better than widescreen Battlefield 2 goodness, either.
i hope that is going in the family room
lol love trey
Congrats on the new TV…and for sticking with the old one for so long. We just bought a new fridge from Sears and got 12 months free financing so we decided to use the blogging revenue to pay off the bill. It is pretty fun to realize that I make enough to buy a nice fridge.
Wow that’s sweet! And blogging paid for it? I’m impressed
First time here.. love the blog. And great, clean, layout too!
Congrats on the new tv. LCDs have come a long way just in the last couple years, and the image they produce is very good. Remember that while LCD is still prone to burn in, it’s temporary on LCD. If you ever notice burn in from being on a channel with a static onscreen logo, rest assured that it will go away after you’ve been off that channel for awhile.
Enjoy
We have a dinasour of a tv in our bedroom and the sound went out. The hubby and I are deaf, so still no excuse to get a new flatscreen yet!
I am so so jealous and not ashamed to say it! We have a serious clunker of a TV sitting in our living room that is just about to exhale its last breath! I can not wait to jump on the flat screen LCD HD wagon!
