When it comes to picking out the perfect gift for a kid, I am a huge fan of a toy that is not only fun but also provides a learning experience with the power to hold a child’s attention for longer than five minutes. Enter the Zillionaire Personal Savings Machine from Zillionz, a line of toys that teach kids the importance of saving and keeping track of their money.

The Zillionaire Personal Savings Machine is more than just a bank, it’s three customizable and interactive savings banks in one! Children learn about spending, saving, and investing by assigning different savings goals to each bank. Savings goals can be short term like a Christmas shopping fund or long term like a new bike or college tuition. The touch screen display allows children to view the balance of their accounts at any time. Accounts can be set to make deposits and withdrawals, they can be password protected, and also assigned deposit and allowance reminders.

I’ll admit that at first set up seemed daunting, but once I got started, the digital touch screen made it a quick and easy task that took less than ten minutes. Then it was time to start making deposits! One of my favorite features of the Zillionaire Personal Savings Machine is the automatic coin reader that recognizes the value of a coin as you drop it in the slot and adds it to the balance of that particular savings bank. When you drop a bill in the bill slot, the display will prompt you to choose the value of the bill to be added to your balance. These fun features make saving money fun and exciting.

A little bonus is included with Zillionaire Personal Savings Machine: “The Pop Guide to Zillionz: 10 Steps to Become a Zillionaire!” This little pop up guide teaches kids to become financially independent Super Stars! The Zillionaire Personal Savings Machine makes it fun!

So this must be the digital replacement for the humble piggybank. Nice looking product, indeed! And it is called a Personal Savings Machine. Very creative — whoever thought of this one…

Sometimes, after doing some research, you end up realizing it wasn’t such a good idea after all. Sometimes you adjust your concept just a bit before buying a domain name.

This is a great product! I know it’s for kids, but I want one for myself! Sadly, my spending and saving habits are not great, and something like this, being so simple to use sounds great. Thanks for the post!

The color is perfect. Very eye grabbing. It makes it look hip and cool and all shiney. I thinks its a great gift but I also think it should come with a dream. Something for the child to aspire for.

This sounds very promising. I wonder if it would be able to read CAD coins or if they are only set up for USD?

That is very awesome, if I did have that thing when I was a kid I would have been rich now! It only has one bad feature and that is you can see the money and that could lead any kid too blow the “bank”

Love it – my littlest loves the word ‘zillionaire” already (and money…). I will have to look for this for him, currently he’s just got the traditional piggybank – this is a lot more fun! Thanks!
