Last week I shared a review on a low calorie sweetener called truvia. I had received a 40 count sample box to review. Two days ago, after sharing the goodness with two relatives over the weekend, I had to visit the supermarket to purchase more.
I have two 80 boxes on hand. I really like truvia! Can you tell?
Because I had liked the sweetener so much, I was then introduced to a couple of drink mixes that contain truvia as well.
First is True Lemon
True Lemon is a 0 calorie drink mix packet that can be added to your bottled water. The ingredients are: citric acid, lactose, lemon juice, lemon oil, maltrodextrin, and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). One packet has zero calories and 25% Vitamin C.
The flavor is comparable to that of a Lemon Shake-Up drink similar to what you would get at your local carnival.
It’s really very tasty.
I like that the packets are small enough to carry a few in my purse so I have a calorie free drink option when I’m out and about. A choice that extends beyond water alone.
Next is Nature’s Splash
The dink mix comes in a variety of flavors but I tried Mango Pineapple. Naturally Sweetened Low Calorie Drink Mix – only 25 calories per serving! No artificial sweeteners – No artificial flavors – No artificial preservatives. Sweetened with a blend of all natural truvia sweetener and evaporated cane juice.
Drinking water is great – but sometimes I just want a little flavor. I refrain from grabbing a soda. Nature’s Splash provides me a healthy and sensible alternative when I have those nagging cravings.
True Lemon and Nature’s Splash are available at major grocers and in bulk through Amazon.

I haven’t tried either of these, but they sound pretty tasty.
I don’t drink much juice, or at least packaged stuff. Mango pineapple sounds like a pretty amazing combination too!
hm, I never heard about that truvia before. But I did some research and found out that it is derived from the Stevia plant. Still, there is some debate on the internet if it is as good as stevia (as it contains some other componenets – Rebiana and Erythritol).
And regarding those drink mixes, I would like to try them. Too bad they are not available in my country.
I am a fan of Truvia and can’t wait to try these out. The lemon drink sounds totally refreshing and I love that it has zero cals. I’m also excited to try mango pineapple – YUM!
