My girls’ room is very plain, sure they have tried to personalize it and make it their own but there is barely anything on the walls and with the walls being a light brown color it doesn’t make them very happy.
BabyG Wall
If it were up to the girls the entire room (wall) would be covered, that or painted a different color. So of course I accepted an invitation to try out “WallCandy Arts” which are wall decals. WallCandy Art sent me the “Dottylicious,” which were also featured on Dexter for the new baby. Did you see that one? I didn’t but I heard it was cute. This came with 5 sheets of all sizes and colors of dots, there were 80 dots in all which makes decorating walls fun. The girls had their own idea of decorating so we went with that and had enough to decorate my 2-year-old’s side of my room.
BabyG Bed
BabyGirl, who’s favorite color is pink decided to go with all pink, purple and yellow. She had so much fun putting these up, hopefully these will make her happy with her side and she’ll quit writing on all her stuff. She tells me now that you know it is her side because of the colors, you won’t mistake it so she won’t write her name anymore. We were also sent wall chalkboards to stick on their wall($18+). They really love this and keep a bucket of chalk for any notes they want to leave one another.

BalletG's Bed
BalletGirl, she’s 9, wants to have all colors that aren’t princesses and such. Her favorite color is green so she went with the browns, greens and blues. You can tell by looking at the picture each girl had similiar ideas but made it their own. This is one bedroom but now it is definitely divided with personality and a bit of charm. Oh and her favorite part is the chalkboard, she leaves me a note every night telling me she loves me.
A's Bed
Little A, he’s 2 and while he probably wouldn’t care if his side of my room was decorated or not. But I knew he’d feel left out watching the girls, so I let him do it too. Course since these are able to peel off, he keeps changing his side of the room. One morning I woke to all his dots being lined up in a straight line, by night time they were all in one big circle. So as you can see they come off just as easily and for those that worry about paint peeling so far we haven’t had to deal with that.
The Dottilicious comes in a tin can, (which the kids have made into a drum) which means the decals won’t get destroyed in the mail. You can get your own Dottilicious ($54) or other decals such as animals, letters, chalkboard, cars, etc for $24 on up. In my opinion it beats having to repaint a bedroom. This would make a great gift for just about anyone, whether it is a new baby in the family or someone wanting to decorate their plain bedroom.
