I have had some trouble finding just the right bottle for my little one. The milk either seemed to come out too slow or too fast, it would leak or the air would prevent the milk from coming out, or the bottles were too hard to clean. These are all problems that may occur while bottle feeding – and I think I have come across all of them!
This is why I was so excited to review a type of bottle I hadn’t tried yet - Dr. Andrew’s Weil Baby brand – to see if I could find the right fit. I was especially excited to try this brand because they are ultra safe, always BPA free, pediatrician recommended, and made in the USA – all qualities I look for in a bottle.
Weil Baby graciously sent me a couple products to try out – (1) 5 oz bottle, (1) 9 oz. drinking cup, (1) 5 oz training cu
p and (2) Y-cut silicone nipples. The first thing I noticed after opening the packages is how durable they looked. That was a good start. The second thing I noticed was that the parts all looked interchangeable. The drinking cups could turn into a bottle if you put a normal nipple on it and the bottle could turn into drinking cups if you put the drinking spout on it. That was extremely helpful since my son is just at the stage where he is starting to use both a bottle and a drinking cup. The third thing I noticed was how the lid covered the whole top of the bottle and looked like it would definitely keep out leaks. When I tried the bottles out, my guess was definitely true. There were no leaks no matter how hard it was shaken – even with the lids off! Yeah!
Then came the real test – how would my son like drinking from it? Well, once he got started eating, he seemed to have a little trouble getting the milk to come out. I heard him swallowing but I think it was coming out a little slow for him. This confused me because it 
says it is a fast-flow nipple so I couldn’t quite figure that one out. However, I kept using it and he eventually finished it…just took a little longer! He doesn’t need to chow down so fast anyway, right?
So…I loved the look, the cleanliness, the natural and safe materials they are made of, and the interchangeable parts. And..my son learned to eat a little slower! 
I am definitely going to keep using their product, especially when he starts to switch to the drinking and training cups because I love everything they stand for and the care they put into making quality products!

We’re thrilled to finally have Weil Baby bottles in Australia. We love that the packaging is also environmentally-friendly – recycled paper, PET window instead of PVC and even the plastic inserts will biodegrade as they are made from plant plastic. When a company looks at all aspects of their impact on the planet and people, I feel that you can have more faith in the integrity of their product. Thanks for a great review.
